Lighting materials
These are lightning protection devices, also commonly called lightning rods / lightning arresters / air terminals. They are installed at the highest points of buildings, factories, towers, substations, and other structures to help intercept lightning strikes and safely conduct the electrical current to the grounding/earthing system.
The picture shows several types, including Prevectron 2 ESE lightning terminals, ABB OPR lightning terminals, and copper multi-point lightning rods.
They are normally used together with down conductors, copper tape/cable, clamps, earth rods, and an earthing system to provide complete lightning protection.
Accessories and fittings
These are earthing and grounding materials used for electrical installations, substations, transformers, buildings, and lightning protection systems.
The picture includes copper-bonded earth rods, copper earth tape/strip, copper conductor coils, copper earth plates, green/yellow earth cable, and other metallic grounding strips.
Their purpose is to provide a low-resistance path to ground, helping safely discharge fault current and lightning energy into the earth and protecting electrical equipment and personnel.
