What this sector needs
A commercial building or a residential estate is a small utility. It takes a supply in, transforms it, distributes it through pillars and cable, lights it, and increasingly stores energy to ride through outages. Every one of those elements is something we hold.
For estate developers and facility managers, the practical advantage is a single supplier across the whole scope. Transformer, ring main unit, feeder pillars, cable, containment, lighting and solar on one account, with one person to call.
We have completed ring main unit supply and installation on a commercial site. For solar we size against the actual load in the building rather than selling a package, which matters more in this sector than any other because the load profile varies so much between buildings.
