On a construction programme, electrical infrastructure sits on the critical path near the end, which is the worst place for a long lead item to be. By the time the substation is needed there is no float left, and a ten week factory lead time becomes a ten week delay to handover.
We hold transformers, cable, switchgear and containment. For a developer that turns a long lead item into a short one, and it means one supplier can cover the substation, the reticulation, the containment and the fit out materials.
We also install and commission, which removes a coordination problem from your programme. One party supplies the transformer and the ring main unit, sets them, terminates, tests and hands over.
